FIFTH ANNUAL WALK FOR HUNGER AT SKY VIEW MIDDLE SCHOOL IN LEOMINSTER

On Wednesday, September 19th, for the annual Day of Caring, we held our fifth annual Walk for Hunger at Sky View Middle School. We would like to thank the students and faculty for their continued support of our mission to help the food insecure children in our community!

We would like to thank Principal Debra Squires for allowing us to hold the event at the school again this year. Sending a special thank you to Ms. Gould and Mr. Grossman and the Sky View Student Council for all your hard work in helping us with the walk and organizing the food donations.

In order to participate in the walk the students & faculty donated a can of Chef Boyardee, a can Chicken Noodle soup, a box of macaroni and cheese or $1.00. They raised $400 which they purchased Market Basket Gift certificate with as well as collecting cans of Chef Boyardee, Chicken Noodle soup, boxes of macaroni & cheese and various food items.

It is because of the kindness and generosity of people like all of you that we are able to help the food insecure children. We could not do what we do without the tremendous support from our community. Thank you for helping us to help the children! Your donations will make a difference in the lives of many children and you all should be very proud of yourselves!
