THE LEOMINSTER & FITCHBURG LODGE OF ELKS CONTINUES TO SUPPORT OUR MISSION

We would like to thank Gail Creed of the Leominster-Fitchburg Lodge of Elks for applying for yet another grant to support our mission to help the food insecure children in our community.

Gail recently notified us that she applied for another $2000 grant for food for the kare kits through the Elks. She and her husband, Bob, and friends, Linda & Steve Douglas recently delivered food for the kare kits to us.

We greatly appreciate their support of our mission to feed the food insecure children in our community. It is because of people like all of you that we are able to provide kare kits to 475 children every week.

IN MEMORY OF A LITTLE BOY WITH A BIG HEART - TYLEN CUNNINGHAM

During the month of March Emma Lewis Cunningham has once again reached out to her friends, family and community to remember her beautiful son, Tylen, by donating to local organizations that are dear to her heart.

After losing her son,Tylen, Emma made a decision to honor him by holding a food drive to help our kidz. She has been supporting our mission for the past five years. The amount of food that she has collected is incredible - another true testimony of the love her community has for Tylen and his family. She has already delivered three car loads of food to us and still has more to bring.

Emma's strength, kindness and generosity continues to amaze us all. We cannot imagine the pain that she and her family are in and that she would think of other children during this time is a testimony to her strength and love for her beautiful son.

Emma we hope that you know that we greatly appreciate your kindness and will keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers. We know that Tylen is smiling down upon you!

OPTION 1 FITNESS SUPPORTS OUR MISSION

A special thank you to Karen & Bob Croteau for organizing a fundraiser at Monoosnock Country Club to benefit our kids. We greatly appreciate the support of the members of Locker Room B Hockey & Golf and Monoosnock Country Club for their kindness and generosity. They collected food to donate for our kare kits at their event as well as donating $1300!! It is because of people like all of you that we are able to help the food insecure children in our community! Thank you all for your support!!

A special thank you to everyone who joined us this week to pack the kare kits for our kidz!!

We had two families from St Anna's school, two employees from Macy's in Leominster, a nursing student from Mount Wachusett Community College and Girl Scouts from Troop 30257 join a few of our team members to pack the kare kits and then reset up the food to prepare to pack for next week.

This is a testament to the amazing support we receive from our community!! It takes a village to accomplish what we accomplish every week and we could not do it without our fabulous community!! Thank you all!!
