FIRST SUMMER DISTRIBUTION OF KARE KITS TO THE KIDZ

Tonight we distributed the first five weeks’ worth of summer kare kits to the kids. Not only did each child receive five kare kits but the families received loaves of wheat bread, gallons of milk and fresh fruits and vegetables from Central Mass Locavore in Westminster.

We greatly appreciate the continued support of Tim & Jacki Hildreth of Central Mass Locavore as well as some of their customers who have also made donations to provide fruits and vegetables to our mission throughout the year. We also greatly appreciate the donation of lettuce for the kids from Little Leaf Farms in Devens this week! It is because of generous and caring people like all of you that we are able to help 445 children!!

Thanks to Kristy, Katelyn & Caleb Wark, members of the kare kit team, for bringing their adorable baby bunnies for the kids to pet. The children loved them.
