Shelley Misiph, Co-Chair, Brand Central Chapter of the Joy in Childhood Foundation said, “Kylee made an impact on the grant committee for several reasons. Kylee started Kylee’s Kare Kits for Kidz at the incredibly young age of 10. For someone so young to have not only that kind of awareness, but also the compassion to want to take action and help, is truly incredible. The Joy in Childhood Foundation is thrilled to be able to help Kylee with her mission to provide meal kits for members of her community. We look forward to seeing the amazing things Kylee does next.”
We would like to thank the Joy in Childhood foundation for believing in our mission to help the food insecure children and for their extremely generous grant donation in the amount of $10,000. A very special thank you to Everett Gasbarro for his kindness in nominating us to apply for this grant. We will be able to provide kare kits to many children with the donation. It is because of the kindness and generosity of people like all of you that we are able to help the children.
