MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! OUR SHELVES ARE FULL! OUR THIRD ANNUAL FILL A TRUCK EVENT IS A TREMENDOUS SUCCESS THANKS TO ALL OF YOU!!

We would like to thank everyone who came out over the past two days to support our Third Annual Fill A Truck event at Market Basket in Leominster! We received over $12,000 in food and monetary donations over the two days and are so grateful that we live in a community with so many kind, caring and generous people.

We would like to thank Market Basket for allowing us to hold our third annual event at their Leominster Store. The managers and employees were absolutely amazing doing everything they could to help us. Mr. Frank Parreira, the store manager, was extremely supportive throughout the two days even getting on the store intercom system to tell the story behind Kylee's mission and asking Market Basket customers for their support. Mr. Paulo Santos did a fabulous job in ordering all the food that we needed to package the blue tote bags with food and to keep the individual items available for purchase. Mr. Corey Kucala was also a tremendous support throughout the event running the front end and making sure we had everything we needed. We would also like to acknowledge Mr. Brian Page, Mr. Charlie Branch, the cashiers who answered customers questions about our event and all the other employees who were so supportive and instrumental in making this event such a success. Thank you all!

A very special thank you to our team for their continued support and dedication to the mission of helping the food insecure children in the community! From our adult kare kit krew, to the middle and high school team all the way to our newest Jr Team members and their families we couldn't have done this without you. Many of you remained at the event from 7 am to 9 pm!! We are so grateful for all of you!! You were all amazing !!

The biggest thank you goes to the members of our community who came out and supported us. Whether you made a monetary donation, purchased a gift card, a pre-packaged bag of food, an individual item or just stopped by to learn about our mission or give us words of encouragement we thank you! We are true believers that we couldn't do this alone and that we are able to help 400 food insecure children in our community because of the support of everyone in our community and beyond. This event was successful because of all of you! We will be able to provide food to many children because of your kindness and generosity and for that we truly thank you all!!

With warmest regards,

Kylee McCumber & Lori Bateman
