OUR KIDZ ARE IN NEED OF SCHOOL SUPPLIES & BACKPACKS

As the new school year is quickly approaching we are reaching out to ask for donations of school supplies for our kidz. If you are able to make a donation please reach out to us at kyleeskarekitsforkidz1@gmail.com or message us on Facebook and we will make arrangements to pick up your donation.

The kids are in need of backpacks, crayons, markers, pencils, pens, pencil cases, high-lighters, scissors, glue sticks, glue, notebooks, lined paper, rulers, erasers and any other school supplies you would like to donate. We have over 300 students in pre-school through high school who can use our help.

We will be delivering the collected school supplies to our kidz during the week of August 15th. We greatly appreciate your continued support of our kidz!!

Kylee received a letter this weekend from The Caring Institute in Washington DC. She has been nominated for the 2016 Caring Awards. She is honored that someone nominated her for this award. She is one of ten finalists for 2016.The five nominees that receive the most votes will be inducted into the Caring Hall of Fame in October in Orlando, Florida. We would like to thank Teresa Sanderson and the girls of Troop 11190 for coming to pack kare kits with us! We greatly appreciated your help! They also donated a $45 BJ's Gift Card which we used to purchase food for the kare kits as well as boxes of Girl Scout cookies!! The kare kit kidz love Girl Scout cookies!!

We would like to thank the students and faculty of Leominster High School for their recent drive for our kidz! Guidance counselor and basketball coach Mr. Steve Dubzinski spearheaded the drive and many of the sports teams, clubs and groups within the school jumped on board donating funds for our mission. They also did a collection during lunchtimes for several days. They raised a total of $799.33!!

Your donation will help us to provide kare kits to many students!! We greatly appreciate your continued support of our mission and are able to do what we do because of caring and generous people like all of you!!

We would like to thank Heather Perkins from Welch's Juice in Concord for coordinating a donation of juice for our kidz! We greatly appreciate the generosity of Welch's Juice!!

We would like to thank the girls and leaders of Leominster's Girl Scout Troop 30502 for coming and packing kare kits with us! We hope you enjoyed your time with us and that you will come back again!!

We would like to thank the anonymous donor who made a donation of new sneakers for our kidz! We distributed them to children who receive kare kits at various schools throughout Leominster. The guidance counselors gave them to the students in need and let us know how excited they were to receive them. Thank you very much for making this possible.

ST BERNARD'S HIGH SCHOOL HOLDS FOOD DRIVE FOR KYLEE'S KIDZ

WORKERS CREDIT UNION FOOD BIN COLLECTIONS

We would like to thank the gentleman who has been visiting the Workers Credit Union branch located at 319 N Main Street in Leominster every Thursday and leaving several bags of food for our kidz!! He wishes to remain anonymous and we respect that but wanted to be sure he knows how much we appreciate his kindness and generosity.

ANONYMOUS DONORS GENEROSITY HELPS THE KIDS

Thank you to the anonymous donor who made an extremely generous donation to our mission through the United Way of North Central MA. They requested that we purchase Organic Milk, Cheerios and clementines for the kare kits. The kids will definitely love the fresh fruit!!


We included the donated items in the two kare kits that each child received for school vacation week and will be able to provide them again in the next couple of weeks. We greatly appreciate your kindness and generosity. It is because of people like you that we can help so many children!!

THANK YOU TO THE LEOMINSTER WAMPANOAG PATHFINDERS CLUB

Thank you to Ruth & Ralph of the Leominster Wampanoag Pathfinders Club from the Leominster Seventh Day Adventist Church for bringing a group of their kids and adults to pack kare kits with us. We greatly appreciate the donation of food that you brought for our kare kits.

UNITED WAY YOUTH VENTURE COMMUNITY EXPO

On March 9th, 2016 the United Way Youth Venture held their first Community Expo at The Great Wolf Lodge in Fitchburg, MA..

Thirty Youth Venture Teams set up at the event to bring awareness to the great work that they are doing in the community. Each team works to make a difference in the community with various missions.

These youth lead teams shared their ideas and successes with the community.

I was honored to be part of the Steering Community for this wonderful event and am so proud of all my peers and their commitment to helping others in our community!! A special thanks to my team members Devin Grimley & Haylee Deforte for helping out at the event!

THANK YOU TO MADELINE FOR ONCE AGAIN GIVING UP HER BIRTHDAY FOR OUR KIDS

Many children look forward to the gifts that they receive for their birthdays but not Madeline. She recently celebrated her birthday and this is not the first time she has given up her birthday gifts and asked her friends and family to donate food for our kids in place our buying a gift for her. Madeline should be very proud of the fact that she once again choose to put others before herself!!


Madeline & her sister Evelyn have also organized food drives at their school for the past two years. We greatly appreciate Madeline's kindness and support of our mission to help the food insecure children.

THANK YOU TO ST MARY’S PARISH IN JEFFERSON MA

For the third year St Mary’s Parish chose Kylee’s Kare Kits for Kidz as one of the local organizations that they would support during their annual Day of Caring. They sent a group of high school students and adult leaders to help us pack kare kits and to make May Baskets that will be sold as a fundraiser for our mission. They made 100 baskets that they then took back to their parish to sell for us!! Each basket will be sold for a $5 donation which will provide a child with a kare kit for a weekend.


They also presented us with a check in the amount of $808.35 which they raised during their Souper Bowl event. We greatly appreciate the donation.
