TWO SPECIAL SISTERS GIVE UP THEIR BIRTHDAYS AGAIN

When most children are approaching their birthdays they think about the gifts they would like to receive but not ten year old Evelyn and six year old Carilyn. They asked their family and friends to bring grocery store gift cards or food items for our kids instead of bringing gifts for them. This is the third birthday that Evelyn has done this and the second year that Carilyn has. They should both be so very proud of themselves for putting other children ahead of themselves. It is always better to give than to receive and they have definitely learned that. Thank you very much girls! We are very proud of you!!

THANK YOU TO THE HARVARD GIRL SCOUTS AND THE COMMUNITY HARVEST PROJECT IN HARVARD

I would like to thank Susan and Adam of the Community Harvest Project located in Harvard for their donation of apples for our kare kits this week! A special thank you to Janice Kennedy and the Harvard Girl Scouts for reaching out to help me with my mission to feed the food insecure children in our community. They contacted the Community Harvest Project requesting apples for my kids and provided us with enough apples to provide them in our kare kits this week. It is because of caring people like all of you that my team and I are able to help so many food insecure children. Thank you so very much!!
