We would like to thank Mr. Mark Allen the President of Vistar New England and Mr. Jeff Terban the NE Sales Manager for Burdette Beckmann, Inc for inviting us to their trade show in Springfield. We met a lot of wonderful people from various companies who donated product for our kare kits. We greatly appreciate your kindness and generosity.

Thank you to the BBI team for helping us to load all the donations onto the pallets to be shipped to us next week. We will be receiving 4 pallets of donations!!

We would also like to thank Mr. Michael Rosenberg of Promotion in Motion who introduced us to Mr. Robert Taylor of Burdette Beckmann, Inc this past winter. Robert in turn asked his NE Sales Manager, Mr.Jeff Terban to work with us. Jeff than intorduced us to Mr. Mark Allen the President of Vistar New England. Jeff and Mark had already sent us two shipments of various items for the kare kits prior to our going to the trade show.

We continue to be amazed at the kindness and generosity of so many people. Please know that you are making a difference in the lives of many children!! We will be forever grateful for your support!!

 

THE WINNER OF THE FOOTBALL AUTOGRAPHED BY "GRONK" IS....

Thank you to everyone who bought a raffle ticket for the football that was autographed by the New England Patriots "Gronk". We raised $540 and will be able to provide kare kits to approximately 100 children!! The lucky winner is Karen Sokolowski!!!

A very special thank you to Mr. Michael Rosenberg for his extremely generous donation of the football for our raffle. Mr. Rosenberg is the owner & CEO of the company Promotion In Motion who makes the delicious Welch's Fruit Snacks and other wonderful treats. He provides us with Welch's Fruit Snacks for all of our kare kits!! Michael we greatly appreciate your continued support for the mission to feed the food insecure children!!

SECOND ANNUAL WALK FOR HUNGER AT SKY VIEW MIDDLE

On Friday September 18th we held our second annual Walk for Hunger at Sky View Middle School. It was beautiful fall day!!

In order to participate in the walk the students were asked to donate a food item for the kare kits or $1. Kylee and her team collected $388 and a ton of food!! Thank you to everyone who particpiated in our Annual Day of Caring event!! Your contributions will help us to feed the food insecure children in our community!! Thanks to Mr. Tim Blake and the staff of Sky View for your continued support of our mission!!

We would like to say thank you to Angelina Spagnoli of the IC Credit Union for organizing a food drive for the kare kits. Also thanks to Angelina, Chris and Sheila for coming to pack kare kits with us! We greatly appreciate your support of our mission to feed the food insecure children in our community!!

ANOTHER FABULOUS 5K FUNDRAISER FOR THE KARE KITS

We would like to say thank you to the over 100 supporters who came out today on the gorgoeus Sunday for our Second Annual 5K at Embers Pizza in Lunenburg. A very special thanks to Ken Ricker for allowing us to hold our 5K at Embers Pizza for the second year in a row!! We greatly appreciate your generousity and kindness. The food was fabulous too!!

Thank you to Cyndi Deshaies for organizing the 5K and to all the fabulous members of the Kylee's Kare Kits for Kidz Team & our friends for your hard work on making this event successful.

We would also like to thank Kelly from East Coast Custom Apparel for designing & providing the shirts - everyone loved them.

The 5K Run Winners- 1st place Brad Fors, 2nd place David Audet and third place Pete Leblanc.

The first female runner to cross the finish line was Alana Johnson.

If you are interested in making a food donation for the kare kits the Workers Credit Union at 319 N Main Street in Leominster has a bin located in their lobby where you can drop off donations. We greatly appreciate WCU's support of our mission!

The following items can be used for the kare kits:  100% juice boxes, Campbells Chicken Noodle Soup, Chef Boyardee products, Spaghettio products, Macaroni & Cheese, Fruit cups, applesauce cups, pudding cups, individual serving size boxes of cereal & oatmeal packets.

KYLEE'S KARE KITS FOR KIDZ IS RECRUITING VOLUNTEERS

Do you have free time on your hands? Are you looking to do something worthwhile with your time? Do you know that it is better to give than to receive? Do you want to make a difference in a childs life? Than you may be who we are looking for.
 

Kylee's Kare Kits for Kidz is looking to recruit volunteers to help with delivering kare kits to the schools in Leominster on Friday mornings between 7:30 am and 9:00 am.
 

We are also looking to recruit volunteers willing to help us set up for packing the kare kits. This could be done on either Wednesday or Thursday evening each week in Leominster.

WINCHENDON SCHOOL STUDENTS & FACULTY PACKS KARE KITS FOR OUR KIDZ

We would like to thank the faculty and students of the Winchendon School for their help in packing kare kits with us this week!! We are very excited to have your students and faculty help us with our mission to help the children in need within our community! We are looking forward to seeing you all again soon!!

SISTERS CHOOSE TO GIVE RATHER THAN TO RECEIVE FOR THEIR BIRTHDAYS

When most children have a birthday party they look forward to the gifts that they may receive. Well, nine year old Evelyn and five year old Carilyn are not like most kids! When they both recently celebrated their birthdays they asked family and friends to donate food or grocery store gift certificates for the kare kits instead of receiving gifts for themselves. Thank you so very much Evelyn & Carilyn for putting others before yourselves! You should be very proud of what you have done! This is the second year that Evelyn has given up her birthday gifts for our kids! It truly is better to give than to receive!! We are very grateful for your kindness and support of our mission to help the food insecure children in our community.
