NINE YEAR OLD LILY KARES FOR OUR KIDS!!

Most children look forward to their birthdays with the anticipation of receiving gifts. But not all children are alike. Nine year old Lily is one of those kids. As her ninth birthday approached she decided she wanted to do something for others. She decided to have her friends and family donate items of food for our kare kits instead of purchasing gifts for her. She then had her Mom reach out to us to ask if they could come and pack the kare kits with us as well.

Lily along with her parents, her brother and friends recently joined us to pack the kare kits. She celebrated her birthday with us helping the food insecure children in our community. She also brought a donation of food that she received from family and friends in place of gifts for herself. Lily we hope you know that your kindness is amazing. You should be very proud of yourself for putting others before yourself. We certainly are!

STERLING GIRL SCOUT TROOP 30502 SUPPORTS OUR KIDS

We would like to thank Sterling Girl Scout Troop 30502 for joining us to pack kare kits. They had volunteered with us two years ago and they voted to collect donations and come to pack with us again this year. The girls are all fourth grade students in Sterling and not only did they pack kare kits with us but they donated Girl Scout cookies for the kids as well.

We greatly appreciate your support of our mission to help the food insecure children in our community! It is because of kind and caring people like all of you that we are able to help the children. You all should be very proud of yourselves and we hope that you will join us again sometime.

FALLON HEALTH SUPPORTS OUR MISSION ONCE AGAIN

We would like to thank Fallon Health for their continued support of our mission to help the food insecure children in our community. They awarded us with a check for $2000 from their Hunger Relief program.

Today they came to our kastle to make check presentations to us as well as eight other organizations in our community that are doing amazing things to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate.We greatly appreciate the dedication that Fallon Health has in making a difference in our community!

NATIONAL GRID KARES FOR OUR KIDZ

We'd like to thank Kathy Shea from National Grid for reaching out to organize a kare kit packing date for her co-workers. A group on National Grid employees came out after the snow storm this week and joined us to pack 434 kare kits. They brought along both a food donation and monetary donations.

We greatly appreciate the support of our mission to help the food insecure children in our community! Your kindness and generosity is greatly appreciated.

ANOTHER NIGHT OF PACKING FOR THE KIDZ

Another fun night of packing the kare kits. We might have been just a few team members but we were certainly mighty in packing!! Thanks guys for all your help!!

AFFORDABLE INTERIOR SYSTEMS SUPPORTS KYLEE'S KARE KITS FOR KIDZ

We would like to thank Meghan Avellaneda of AIS for organizing a kare kit packing event for her co-workers with us. Members of their BOOST team recently helped pack a week of kare kits with us.

Not only did they pack kare kits with us but they are a platinum sponsor for our upcoming fundraiser on March 31st! This is the second year in a row that they have been a sponsor for our event.

We are only able to help the children because of the wonderful people in our community that believe in our mission to help the food insecure children and support us. Thank you all!!

JOHNNY APPLESEED SCHOOL'S KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS ROCK

Thank you you Ms. Debbie Joslin, the kindergarten students, teachers and families at Johnny Appleseed School for their recent food donation. The children wanted to collect 100 food items for the 100th day of school to donate for our kids! They surpassed their goal and we recently visited them to collect their donation.

This has become an annual tradition at Johnny Appleseed School and we greatly appreciate their kindness and generosity! It is because of the support of people like all of you that we are able to provide kare kits to 434 children every week!!

JR TEAM MEMBER ANNIKA BRINGS HER BROWNIE TROOP TO PACK KARE KITS WITH US

Annika,one of our Jr Team members, recently invited her friends from her Brownie Troop # 64558 to join us to pack kare kits for the kids. Not only did they pack an entire week of kare kits but they also donated food for our kids as well!

Annika's dedication to helping the food insecure children in our community definitely rubbed off on some of her friends as they requested to become part of the Jr Kare Kit team as well. It is so important for children to know that they can make a difference in their community. Thank you girls and a special thank you to Annika for inspiring her friends to make a difference!!
