When most children have a birthday party they look forward to the gifts that they may receive. Well, Madeline, is not like most kids! She just celebrated her 7th birthday and instead of receiving gifts for herself she asked her friends and family to purchase food for the kare kits that we provide to the children in our community! She recently brought the food she received to us and she and her Mom and two of her sisters helped us prepare to pack kare kits for the kids. Thank you so very much Madline for putting others before yourself! You should be very proud of yourself! It truly is better to give than to receive!! We are very grateful for her kindness and support of our mission to help the food insecure children in our community.
