When most children have a birthday party they look forward to the gifts that they may receive. Well, Nico LaPolla, is not like most kids! He just celebrated his 8th birthday and instead of receiving gifts for himself he asked his friends and family to purchase food for the kare kits that we provide to the children in our community!
We are very grateful for his kindness and support of our mission to help the food insecure children in our community. He recently brought the food he received to us and he and his parents helped us to pack kare kits for the kids. Thank you so very much Nico for putting others before yourself! You should be very proud of yourself! It truly is better to give than to receive!!
