The Epilepsy Foundation's New England Donation Center @ EFNEDC Partners with Kylee's Kare Kits for Kidz to support our kidz!! Please schedule a pick up of donated clothing with them, mention Kylee's Kare Kits for Kidz and they will make a monetary donation to our mission of feeding the food insecure children in our community. Kylee’s Kare Kits for Kidz has an exciting opportunity to participate in an unusual fundraiser and we hope you will join us! Having partnered with the Epilepsy Foundation New England Donation Center’s Spotlight Program, Kylee’s Kare Kits for Kidz is eligible to receive up to $5,000.

This fundraiser is made possible by simply cleaning out your closet. Are you holding onto clothing that you don’t really wear and is just taking up space in your closet? Luckily, Kylee’s Kare Kits for Kidz is offering you a chance to clear up some extra space in your closet all while fundraising for a great cause.

When you schedule a residential pickup during the month of July, EFNEDC will donate a penny a pound (up to $5,000) to Kylee’s Kare Kits for Kidz! All you have to do is call 888-322-8209 or go online www.donatenewengland.org to schedule your easy curbside pickup.

If your location comes up as not having “a truck in your area”, don’t worry, just call 888-322- 8209 and let the customer service specialist know you are donating for Kylee’s Kare Kits for Kidz. They will be happy to set up a special pickup.

KYLEE’S KARE KITS FOR KIDZ 10TH ANNUAL HOLIDAY MISSION

With the holidays quickly approaching we have begun our tenth annual holiday mission to provide holiday gifts to our kidz! If a family is struggling with providing food for their family they certainly will struggle with gifts for the holidays. We would like to do what we can to make the holidays a bit brighter for the children. We need your help to provide gifts to the children. The children range in ages from infant through high school.

If you don’t have time to shop but would like to help with this mission feel free to send a monetary donation to our mailing address listed below and let us know that you would like it used for the holiday mission and we will shop for you!!Please help make the holidays a little brighter for children in need. We will need all donations back by Friday, December 10th so that we have time to prepare the gifts to be delivered to the children. If you chose a tag from a business you would then return the gifts to that same location being sure that you have your tag with your gifts so we know which child the gifts belong to. CHRISTMAS IN JULY IN LEOMINSTER

Thank you to Andrew Bottari of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Leominster for choosing our kids to benefit from the Christmas in July Spaghetti Supper that was held at the Eagles last month. During that event they collected toys for us to use for our Holiday Mission this year for the kare kit kids. Thanks to everyone who participated we will be able to provide toys to many children in December. We greatly appreciate the continued support of all of you!

107 BACKPACKS DONATED BY LOCAL NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION

We would like to thank David Carr & BethAnne Arnold co-founders of the non-profit organization, The Joseph & Leslie Carr Foundation, for their recent donation of 107 back packs for our kids.

Their non-profit organizations main focus is providing holiday food baskets to families in need. Their father, Joseph Carr, created a Holiday Food Basket program over 40 years ago and they continue his mission through their non-profit organization. In 2020 they reached out to us and provided the Holiday Food Baskets to some of our families.

David & BethAnne recently reached out to us to ask if they might be able to help us with our annual backpack and school supply drive. They donated 107 backpacks for our kids. We greatly appreciate their continued support of our mission. Thank you you for helping us to make a difference!!

ANNUAL BACKPACK & SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE IS A SUCCESS

We would like to thank everyone who helped with our annual backpack and school supply drive for the kare kit kids. We had backpacks filled with school supplies for children as young as pre-school through high school. Our families always appreciate this extra help each year. 7th ANNUAL FILL A TRUCK AT MARKET BASKET IS A SUCCESS

We would like to thank everyone who came out to Market Basket in Leominster last weekend and supported our 7th annual Fill A Truck event. Every year we continue to be amazed by the kindness & generosity of our community. This year we were concerned with the food shortage and the fact that Market Basket wasn’t able to get any Chef Boyardee products and the usual quantity of other products. Even with those difficulties we collected over $12,800 in food and monetary donations over the two days. What a difference a couple of days and a lot of caring individuals can make!!

 
Take a look at how empty our kastle was on Thursday night and what it looked like by Saturday evening. Truly amazing! Once Market Basket can get Chef Boyardee products we will use some of the monetary donations to fill the shelves that have not yet been filled.

 
A very special thanks to Jim, Derek and Frank and all the employees from the Leominster Market Basket for their tremendous support in helping with this years event. We greatly appreciate all your efforts to help us have another successful Fill A Truck.
