OUR FOURTH ANNUAL HOLIDAY MISSION FOR THE KARE KIT KIDZ WAS A HUGE SUCCESS

  
Our fourth annual holiday mission for the kare kit kidz was a huge success thanks to so many people from our community and beyond. This year because of the kindness and generosity of many we were able to provide gifts to 306 children!! A special thank you to Father Dennis and Our Lady of the Lake Church for allowing us to hold our wrapping party in the church hall for the second year in a row.

We would like to thank everyone who adopted a child, donated wrapping paper, helped to wrap or deliver the gifts or helped in any way. We would like to thank About Face Salon & Day Spa, The Claw Shop Day Spa, Manestream Day Spa, Crossfit EXP, Dr. Timothy Gallagher and the Workers Credit Union  branches at Merriam Ave and North Main Street for allowing us to set up tress with tags for all of our kids!! Thank you to Shannon Nolan, Family Martial Arts Center, Leominster Harley Owners Group and an anonymous person for their donation of toys. It is because of the tremendous support of our community and beyond that we were able to brighten the holidays of 306 children! A very special thank you to Santa and Mrs. Claus for coming with us to deliver the gifts to the children!

MONTACHUSETT CHORALE’S HOLIDAY CONCERT RAISES $5,850 FOR KYLEE’S KIDZ

We are very excited to announce that the Montachusett Chorale’s Holiday Concert fundraiser on December 6th to benefit our kidz was a huge success!! Between the sale of admission tickets, the bake sale and the raffle of a football autographed by Patriot Rob Gronkowski aka “Gronk” they raised a record $5,850 which will provide kare kits too MANY kidz!!! We would like to thank Father Peter Inzerillo and the members of the chorale for their generosity and kindness as well as everyone that attended the concert. It is because of caring people like all of you that we are able to help 306 children in our community every week.

A HUGE THANK YOU TO SHANNON NOLIN & HER FAMILY & FRIENDS

We would like to thank Shannon Nolin of Oxford, MA for reaching out to us in November in regards to her Annual Holiday Party for her family and friends. She explained to us that this year she was hoping to make a change to their annual party by making it a Giving Holiday Party. She had been looking for organizations that could benefit from her family and friends generosity and had heard about Kylee & the team’s mission to feed the food insecure children in our community. She loved the mission and wanted to donate any toys that were donated to us for our kidz for Christmas! We met up with Shannon in December and were amazed by the generosity of her family and friends. She donated several large trash bags filled with toys for the kidz!! Shannon we want to thank you and your family and friends for helping us to make the holidays a bit brighter for the kids. This year with the help of many kind and generous people like all of you we were able to provide bags of gifts to 306 children!! Thank you so very much!!

We would like to thank the Leominster Harley Owners Group for their yearlong support of our mission to feed the food insecure children in our community!! After choosing our mission to be the recipient of their fundraising efforts for 2015 they went on to make donations throughout the year. A special thank for their donation of toys for the kids. I received a message from one of my biggest supporters yesterday regarding Giving Tuesday. His name is Michael Rosenberg and he is the owner and CEO of the company Promotion in Motion. They make the delicious Welch's Fruit Snacks. Michael generously donates fruit snacks for all of our kare kits and when he heard about our participation in Giving Tuesday he replied:
 

"On “Giving Tuesday” we will absolutely share your note ASAP with as many of our friends, employees, vendors and business associates as possible."

 

"We will even up the “ante” by agreeing to match (dollar for dollar) all contributions made during this drive, to Kylees Kare Kits for Kidz, up to $5,000.00"
