KYLEE'S KARE KITS FOR KIDZ WANTS TO INVITE YOU TO BE A PART OF GIVING TUESDAY

We have a day for giving thanks. We have two for getting deals. Now, we have Giving Tuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back. On Tuesday, November 28th, 2017, charities, families, businesses, community centers, and students around the world will come together for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and to give.

It’s a simple idea. Just find a way for your family, your community, your company or your organization to come together to give something more. Then tell everyone you can about how you are giving. Join us and be a part of a global celebration of a new tradition of generosity.

If you are able to give this year, please consider giving to Kylee’s Kare Kits for Kidz, Inc, a 501(c)(3) non-profit founded in Leominster, Massachusetts in 2012 by then ten year old Kylee McCumber. Kylee and her team currently provide kare kits of food to almost 400 children every week. These are food insecure children who would go hungry over the weekends or when they are not in school. We would greatly appreciate your considering making a donation to our mission to ensure that no child goes to bed hungry. Three times during the month of November the employees at Kohls in Leominster packed kare kits for our kidz! KYLEE’S KARE KITS FOR KIDZ 6TH HOLIDAY MISSION HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN AND WE NEED YOUR HELP

With the holidays quickly approaching we have begun our sixth annual holiday mission to provide holiday gifts to all of our kidz! If a family is struggling with providing food for their family they certainly will struggle with gifts for the holidays. We would like to do what we can to make the holidays a bit brighter for the children. We currently have over 300 children on our list from toddlers through high school students!! This year we have many more children in need than ever before. We need your help to provide gifts to so many children. The children range in ages from infant through high school.

Please stop by and take a tag or feel free to drop off individual toys or clothing that we would then be able to give to a child in need. We can use hats, mittens, pajamas, sweatshirts, socks, books, toys or any other items you may like to donate.

If you don’t have time to shop but would like to help with this mission feel free to send a monetary donation to our mailing address listed below and let us know that you would like it used for the holiday mission and we will shop for you!! Please help make the holidays a little brighter for children in need. Remember these are ALL LOCAL CHILDREN needing our help. Your donations help children in our community.

We will need all donations back by Friday, December 15th so that we have time to prepare the gifts to be delivered to the children. If you chose a tag from a business you would then return the gifts to that same location. Thank you very much for helping us to make the holidays brighter for our kidz!! We would like to thank Jim Herrick and the members and staff of Power Source Training Center for holding their fourth annual food drive for our kidz! We greatly appreciate your continued support of our mission to feed the food insecure children in our community! Your donation will help us to provide kare kits to many children.

Not only did they donate a tremendous amount of food but Jim challenged his members with his "Burpees for Hunger Challenge". Jim donated $.05 for every burpee his members did after class for the month of October. This challenge generated a cash donation of $500!!
