OUR LADY OF THE LAKE CHURCH CONTINUES THEIR SUPPORT OF OUR MISSION

We would like to extend a huge thank you to Our Lady of the Lake Church, Father Michael, Father Carlos, Michelle Lutter, the CCD students participating in the Annual Seventh Grade retreat and the adults & high school CCD student volunteers for their continued support of our mission to feed the food insecure children in our community. A very special thank you to Michelle Lutter for organizing this packing event again!!

Once again they came together to pack kare kits for our kids. This year they packed 400 kare kits for us and they even transported them to us once they were finished. It is because of people like all of you that we are able to help so many children. We greatly appreciate your continued support!

ROLLSTONE BANK & TRUST SUPPORTS OUR MISSION TO HELP THE FOOD INSECURE CHILDREN

Rollstone Bank & Trust recently held their 7th Charitable Golf Tournament raising money to benefit local charities helping children in our community. We were chosen to be one of five of the recipients of their generosity.

We would like to thank Martin Connors, President of Rollstone Bank and Trust, and its foundation for their belief in our mission to help the food insecure children in our community. Their generous $8,000 donation will allow us to provide kare kits to many children. We greatly appreciate your kindness and generosity.

THANK YOU THE JOY IN CHILDHOOD FOUNDATION

We would like to thank Everett Gasbarro for nominating Kylee's Kare Kits for Kidz to apply for a grant through Dunkin Donuts charitable foundation the Joy In Childhood Foundation. The mission of the foundation is to provide the simple joys of childhood to sick and hungry kids.

Shelley Misiph, Co-Chair, Brand Central Chapter of the Joy in Childhood Foundation said, “Kylee made an impact on the grant committee for several reasons. Kylee started Kylee’s Kare Kits for Kidz at the incredibly young age of 10. For someone so young to have not only that kind of awareness, but also the compassion to want to take action and help, is truly incredible. The Joy in Childhood Foundation is thrilled to be able to help Kylee with her mission to provide meal kits for members of her community. We look forward to seeing the amazing things Kylee does next.”

We would like to thank the Joy in Childhood foundation for believing in our mission to help the food insecure children and for their extremely generous grant donation in the amount of $10,000. We would like to thank 8 year old Bontu for requesting food for our kids instead of gifts for herself for her recent birthday! Her kindness and the generosity of her friends and family will help us to provide kare kits to many children. Bontu you should be very proud of yourself for putting other children before yourself! I know we are very proud of you! Great job!!

We would like to thank Community Harvest Project in Harvard for their donations of apples for our kids this fall. A special thanks to Susan Conant the Orchard Manager for coordinating these donations for us. The children absolutely love receiving the delicious apples in their kare kits! We packed another weeks worth of kare kits with our team and a group of friends from the community. We love it when families from the community reach out to us and come to volunteer with us!
