NICO CHOOSES OUR KIDZ OVER HIMSELF

Ten year old Nico once again decided to put our food insecure children before himself. For his tenth birthday he requested that his family and friends purchase food for our kidz instead of purchasing gifts for him.

Nico you should be extremely proud of yourself! Most people wouldn't give up their birthday gifts once and you have done it multiple times! We hope you understand how much your kindness and generosity is appreciated. You should be very proud of yourself!!

THE TWIN CITY HANNAFORD BOOK SALES BENEFIT OUR KIDZ

Thank you to Pam Davis and the employees and customers of the Twin City Hannaford for their $569.71 donation to our mission of feeding the food insecure children within our community.

This is the second year that they have support our mission. We greatly appreciate your kindness, generosity and continued support!!

D'AMBROSIO EYE CARE CONTINUES TO SUPPORT OUR MISSION

We would like to thank the staff at D'Ambrosio Eye Care for their continued support of our mission. We recently received a check in the amount $889.17 that they raised during the last six weeks of 2016.

They also continuously send us BJ's coupons for the food items that we purchase there. During the same time period they sent us coupons which saved us $397 at BJ's!

We greatly appreciate your generosity and kindness. It is because of people like all of you that we are able to help almost 400 food insecure children in our community!!

THE EMPLOYEES OF MACY’S AT THE WHITNEY FIELD MALL SUPPORT OUR MISSION ONCE AGAIN

We would like to thank the employees of Macy’s at Whitney Field for choosing to support Kylee’s Kare Kits for Kidz for their Bag Hunger Campaign during the month of March. Employees made both monetary and food donations for our kare kits. Macy’s also collected $1008 during the month from customers who made donations at the registers.

We greatly appreciate the continued support from Macy’s, their employees and a special thank you to Amy Girouard for coordinating this for us. It is because of people like all of you that we are able to help almost 400 children in our community each week.

NETSCOUT EMPLOYEES SUPPORT OUR MISSION

We would like to extend a very special thank you to our team member, Beth Foley, for organizing a packing event on April 14th for some of her co-workers at NetScout through their Heart of Giving Program. Eight NetScout employees and three of their children joined us to pack almost 400 kare kits for our kidz.

At the completion of their volunteer service Beth will be applying for a grant from NetScout in hopes of receiving up to $2500 to help defray the cost of the food we use in the kare kits. We greatly appreciate NetScouts commitment to community service through their Heart of Giving Program and hope our new friends will join us again in the future.

FAMILY FEDERAL SAVINGS BANK EMPLOYEES PACK KARE KITS FOR OUR KIDZ

On April 7th it was another Friday night of packing kare kits with the team and a group of employees and their children from the Family Federal Savings Bank in Fitchburg. We would like to send a special thank you to Allison Giangrande, the branch manager, for reaching out to us and organizing some of her co-workers to come and pack with us. We greatly appreciate the support and are looking forward to packing again with you all at the end of the month. 

We love it when parents bring their children along to teach them how important it is to help others. It is because of kind and caring people like all of you that we are able to help so many children.

AN AMAZING MOM HONORS HER SON BY HELPING OUR KIDZ

Emma Lewis Cunningham is an absolutely amazing mother. After losing her beautiful son,Tylen, she made a decision to honor him by holding a food drive to help our kidz. She placed food donation bins at the Acton & Boxboro branches of Middlesex Savings Bank, The Acton Coffee House and the Carol Huebner Intergrated Preschool during the month of March. The amount of food that she collected was incredible - a true testimony of the love for Tylen and his family.

It is so difficult to imagine the pain that she and her family are in and that she would think of other children during this time is a testimony to her strength and love for her beautiful son. She told us that she is "So happy we could support your wonderful charity & even more thrilled that it was successful! Tylen would be grinning ear to ear!" Tylen was always wanting to help other children something that he obviously learned from his generous and kind Mom.

Emma we hope that you know that we greatly appreciate your kindness and will keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers. We know that Tylen is smiling down upon you!

FIVE YEAR OLD KIMBERLINE HAS A BIG HEART

As Kimberline’s fifth birthday was approaching she made the decision to put other children before herself. Kimi decided that instead of receiving gifts for herself that she would like to have family and friends purchase food or gift cards that she and her Mom could use to purchase food items for our kidz. As their birthdays are approaching most children think about the gifts they would like to receive but five year old Kimi decided she wanted to help some of our food insecure children instead. She is learning at a very young age that it is better to give than receive!

Kimi you should be very proud of yourself and know that your donation helped us to help many children. Great job!!

CENTRAL MASS LOCAVORE CONTINUES TO SUPPORT OUR MISSION

Thank you again to Tim & Jackie Hildreth of Central Mass Locavore for another wonderful donation of fresh organic fruits and vegetables for our kids. We also would like to thank some of their customers who also make donations to provide the fruits and vegetables to the children. We greatly appreciate your kindness and generosity!
