Kylee has just returned from a three day trip to Ft Lauderdale Florida after having been invited to speak about her mission to feed the food insecure children at a GM Meeting for the company Burdette Beckmann Inc also known as BBI.

Thank you to Mr. Robert Taylor Jr. for the invitiation to come to speak at their GM meeting as well as to his staff. We greatly appreciate the hospitality of both Robert and his wife Elizabeth.
Mr. Taylor's company made the wonderful marketing flip book that can be found in an earlier post in both our Facebook page and website. One of his staff members, Solange, sat with Kylee and gave her some marketing tips and suggestions for her non-profit. Mr. & Mrs. Robert Taylor Sr. also gave Kylee words of encouragement and support.

The kindness and generosity of the entire Taylor and BBI family is greatly appreciated. Your donation will help us to provide kare kits to many children. Kylee has made some new life long friends!! She also really enjoyed "shopping in the BBI candy warehouse as the photos below will show!!

Thank you to the Newtown Kindness Board of Directors for honoring Kylee with the Charlotte Bacon Act of Kindness Award at their annual event in Newtown Connecticut on February 21, 2015. Unfortunately Kylee was away on the date of the event and was unable to attend. We greatly appreciate their support of the mission to help the children and will be traveling in the future to meet the members of this wonderful organization.

Aaron Carlson the Chairman of Newtown Kindness said "Newtown Kindness was founded in honor of  Charlotte Bacon who was lost in the tragedy at the Sandy Hook Elementary School on 12/14/12. Our mission is to encourage kindness in children. Congressman Jim McGovern presented a Congressional Record to Kylee and Congressional Citations to the entire kare kits team for their work to feed the food insecure children in our community at an event at Sky View Middle School on Thursday. We are so proud of the team!!! A special thanks to Congressman McGovern, his assistant Eladia Romera, Principal Tim Blake, Mrs. Gina Wironen and everyone involved in organizing event. Thank you to Dawson Elementary School in Holden for their extremely generous donation of food for the kare kits. The drive was suggested by Miss Evelyn Sampson a student at the school. Evelyn and her family are supporters of the kare kits team and frequently pack kare kits with us. This was the largest food donation we have received thus far.
