I would like to once again thank Unilever for the opportunity to be a part of Project Sunlight!! It was an experience that I will remember for the rest of my life. Being able to travel to Los Angeles and Mumbai India to film for the project was amazing. Meeting all the people involved in the project was fantastic! I have made some friends that I will stay in touch with for the rest of my life. Most importantly thank you for the opportunity to be part of a project that is bringing awareness to child hunger an issue that I work very hard to fight in my own community. My goal is to see that no child goes to bed hungry and with Unilever Project Sunlights help we are moving closer to obtaining that goal. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you have done!! The kare kits team has started the Holiday Mission of trying to get Christmas gifts for over 200 children this year!!! We still have approximately 25 kids that need to be adopted. If you would like to adopt a child and buy presents for them please reach out to us and we can provide information for a particular child. We know that some families may not be able t...o purchase mutilpe gifts for a child but we would appreciate any support they could offer. We have people who buy a board game, Barbie doll, Toy truck, sweatshirt, socks, pj's.... and donate it to us. We call these items fillers and we use them to compile a few gifts for a child in need. If you are able to help us please let us know. We would need all gifts and fillers by next Saturday December 13th. Thanks so much for your continued support of the mission to help the children!!

Let's turn the likes into some money to help feed the homeless kids in Leominster. Kylee and Lori spend a lot of their free time to help these kids, all I ask is you spend 5 minutes of your time. If you ever saw th...eir schedule you would be amazed so I am asking FB friends to LIKE and SHARE this page and then DONATE. If you have Pay Pal it will take you less than 5 minutes to help them out.
There is one catch do NOT LIKE or SHARE this unless you are going to DONATE at least $4 to create 1 food bag for 1 child for 1 weekend but feel free to donate what you can afford. This is a tax deductible donation.

A few people have reached out asking if we knew when they would air so here is the schedule for the upcoming week. There are two ads running at this time a 30 second ad and a 60 second ad.The 30 second ad is only Elijah (The boy from Los Angeles) and Kylee. The 60 second ad has the international kids as well as Elijah and Kylee.

Just a few of our friends who helped deliver 200 meals to the homeless on Thanksgiving Day. Thanks to the owners of C & M Pizza Andy & Christine Sears & Debbie Chesbrough for providing the food for the families. The families greatly appreciated the fact that someone cared.

Kylee’s Kare Kits for Kidz is a local non-profit organization that was started in 2012 by, then ten year old, Kylee McCumber. We currently provide kare kits of food to 194 food insecure children within our community on a weekly basis. Many of these children are homeless.
As the holidays are quickly approaching we are beginning the preparation for our Third Annual Holiday Mission for the Kare Kits Kidz!! Beginning the weekend after Thanksgiving we will have small trees set up throughout the community with Wish List Tags for each kare kit kid in the program. We currently have 194 children and we are sure we will have more children before the holidays as our number increases on a weekly basis. We would like to thank the local businesses that will help us with our mission by having Christmas trees with tags for our kidz. Please stop by one of the businesses listed below or contact us through our email address kyleeskarekitsforkidz1@gmail.com should you wish to adopt a child for the holidays!! All gifts will need to be returned, unwrapped to the businesses by Friday, December 12th so we can prepare them for delivery to the children. Thank you for considering helping one of our children.

Many people have been reaching out asking when the ads that Kylee filmed in India will be airing on TV. Tomorrow (Thursday November 20th) they will air on Channel 5 during Grey's Anatomy at 9 pm and Scandal at... 10 pm. There are two different ads - one will air during Grey's Anatomy and the other during Scandal. They will also air on other channels and on different shows but we thought we would mention those two for tomorrow night. We hope you catch them!! They also are airing at the movie theater!
Thank you to everyone who has reached out to show love and support for the kare kit teams mission to feed the children!!! We are hoping to bring awareness to the issue of childhood hunger. Thank you to Mary Ellen Wessell of Children's Smile Coalition for honoring some of the members of Kylee's team!! Last year Kylee was awarded the Young Hero Award. This year some of the team members were honored. These girls deserve the recognition for their hard work, dedication and compassion! Kylee had to miss the event as she was traveling to Mumbai, India to film for the Unilever Project Sunlight ad campaign to end child hunger. Devon Grimley also missed the event but was recognized as a Young Hero.Thanks so much Mary Ellen for honoring these young people!!
